Church Family, for several years, Wendell and I discussed the possibility of moving back to two Sunday morning worship services. Over the last several deacons meetings, the possibility of this change has been addressed. On June 7, 2026 they made the decision to alter our current Sunday service schedule to remove the 9:45 am service starting on July 5, 2026, which will alot the 9:45-10:45 am time slot for Sunday School classes to take place. It is our goal to see more people involved in Sunday School and also more children worshiping with their family, so intentionally alloting this time for Sunday School classes for all ages will allow for families to attend a class while also attending one of our remaining worship services at 8:30 am or 11:00 am. Also, as we search for our next pastor, this change allows for more freedom for our future pastor due to less time constraints.
I know this change will take time to adjust to, but this also allows for an exciting opportunity for the church to offer a new Sunday School class in the Worship Center at 9:45 am each Sunday for anyone who wants to join at this time.
