Sky View Prayer Calendar, February 2012

Wednesday, February 1- Pray for the Precept study on the book of Esther, praying that all members of the class would faithfully attend, complete homework assignments, and apply God’s Word to their lives. Pray for Wendell as he leads this class.

Thursday, February 2- Pray for the members of the Made to Crave Bible study, asking God to bless each one and Jill, as she leads the class. Pray that each member would be motivated to live for Christ and place Him above all else.

Friday, February 3- Lift up the Pregnancy Center, asking God to provide the needed funding and volunteers, so that all women and girls in need in our area would choose birth over abortion.

Saturday, February 4- Pray for the youth of our church and community, praying that each youth in need of salvation would have the opportunity to hear and accept Jesus as Savior. Pray that all teenagers would feel loved and accepted at every church event, class, and program.

Sunday, February 5- Pray for the Superbowl party tonight, praying that many youth would attend, growing closer to God and each other.

Monday, February 6-Lift up the quilting ministry, praying that all recipients would feel the love and prayers poured out during the making of the quilts. Pray for blessings upon those involved in this ministry.

Tuesday, February 7- Pray for Men-in-Prayer as they meet each Tuesday morning, praying for greater attendance and thanking God for the many answered prayers.

Wednesday, February 8- Pray for the men’s and women’s groups as they meet tonight, praying for a fun and encouraging time as missions are planned and testimonies are shared.

Thursday, February 9- Lift up the prayer shawl ministry, praying that those in need of a shawl would receive one, being blessed by the prayers prayed over each shawl while being made.

Friday, February 10-Pray for the college students of our church, praying for health and safety, and wisdom from God when making daily and life-changing decisions.

Saturday, February 11-Pray for the children’s Valentine’s Day dinner, praying that all present would be blessed by the message, food, and fellowship. Thank God for Teresa as she leads the children’s ministries.

Sunday, February 12- Pray for the Tweens Bible study, praying that the members would learn and apply God’s Word to their lives. Pray that lives would be changed because of this study.

Monday, February 13-Lift up Wendell as he shepherds the church, praying for protection, encouragement, inspiration, and time to dwell in God’s Word. Pray for blessings upon him and his family.

Tuesday, February 14- Pray for the marriages in our church and community, praying for God’s protection against Satan’s interference in this holy covenant. Pray that those who are experiencing marital difficulty would seek and find Biblical counseling.

Wednesday, February 15- Pray for the Word of Life groups as they meet each Wednesday evening. Pray that all children and youth in this ministry would learn and live out God’s truths. Pray for blessings upon the leaders of WOL.

Thursday, February 16- Lift up our adopted missionary family, praying for safety, health, direction, provision, and encouragement. Pray for opportunities to share the salvation message and pray for hearts to be prepared to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. Pray for the family members in the US, as they are apart from their parents.

Friday, February 17- Pray for David and his family as he shepherds the church, praying for protection, inspiration, direction, and encouragement. Pray that he may have time to dwell in God’s presence.

Saturday, February 18- Pray for the Battleground ministry, praying for direction and provision of funds and volunteers. Pray that the leaders would not be discouraged as they seek to reach the teens in our community.  Pray that each event would reach those in need, bringing them to salvation and a closer walk with Christ.

Sunday, February 19- Pray for the Tweens, Diamonds, and Guys Living Pure, as they meet today. Pray for blessings of fellowship and drawing closer to God.

Monday, February 20- Thank God for the numerous volunteers in our church and community, praying that each volunteer would be blessed through their service.

Tuesday, February 21- Pray for those in our church and community who are suffering from physical and mental illness. Pray for God’s comforting hand on these in need of healing and love.

Wednesday, February 22- Pray for the music ministries of the church and the leaders. Pray for blessings upon all involved, praying that all music would draw people to Christ.

Thursday, February 23-Lift up the Fancy Gap Elementary School Adopt-a-School program, praying for the needed donations and volunteers, so that this showing of Christian love and service would touch each student, teacher, and employee.

Friday, February 24- Pray for the Komering, our adopted people group, praying that all would hear and accept the gospel message. Pray the Holy Spirit would touch each soul in this people group.

Saturday, February 25- Pray for the Free Clinic, asking God to provide the necessary funding and volunteers, so that those in need in our community would receive physical and spiritual healing.

Sunday, February 26- Pray for Mothers-in-Prayer as it meets each Sunday evening, praying that more mothers would feel compelled to attend. Thank God for this precious time of bowing before His throne.

Monday, February 27-Lift up the physical facilities of the church, praying for God’s provision and direction. Pray that we would feel His leading in deciding when to build. Thank Him for the spiritual and numerical growth of our church.

Tuesday, February 28-Pray for the Backpack ministry, praying for the needed donations and volunteers.  Pray that each recipient of a backpack would feel God’s love and provision.

Wednesday, February 29-Pray for the prayer ministries of the church, praying that all members would pray daily for our church and its ministries. Pray that many would take turns praying in the prayer room during Sunday services.
